- San Diego start-up stem-cell company discovered a new type of stem cell in menstrual blood. The venture, so far, looks promising. The stem cells can replicate themselves far more than bone marrow stem cells. On one hand, we may be able to avoid the ethical issues due to stem cell research. On the other, I wonder how are the scientists going to collect menstrual blood.
- Avoid ten typos that everybody makes. Grammar Nazis, move over! It’s time for typography Nazis to take the Internet stage. First rule: A hypen is not a dash!
- Previously released Marilyn Monroe sex tape sells for $1.5 million. The buyer is kind enough to keep the tape out of the media, but I don’t understand why he would want it in the first place. (It’s just a sex tape, people!)
- Eight-year-old Yemen girl takes abusive 30-year-old husband to court, and wins! It’s okay to marry very young girls; you just can’t molest them. Too bad this guy tried it. It’s an uplifting story, but still a sad one. There are so many obstacles in her life still. But props to her. She’ll find a way.
