Home again in Boston after a few days of flying and drinking (but not at the same time.) Byrnes and I went to his friend’s wedding down in Tennessee. The bride and groom made a gorgeous, happy couple. The ceremony was beautiful, and the reception was so much fun.

During the reception, Byrnes asked the wedding band if he could sit in on one of the tunes. He was so good the first time, the band asked him back for another. Yes, he was smokin’.

We caught an earlier flight back to Logan, and—luckily—caught one of the last trains back to the city. Though it’s late, we’re quite awake. But, sadly, the city sleeps. We’ll just live it up tonight in the apartment.
